The dsDNA 935 Reagent Kit is a qualitative kit for the automated sizing and relative quantification of DNA fragments between 35 bp and 1,500 bp. Notably, this kit performs a separation in as little as 15 minutes, perfect for time-sensitive workflows. Common applications of this kit include genotyping, the analysis of PCR amplicons, microsatellites, and SSRs. Note: This is a qualitative kit for the accurate sizing and relative quantification of fragments.

Examples

Qualitative analysis of DNA necessitates the use of a well separated, quality ladder for the sizing of samples. The 100 bp DNA Ladder (FS-SLR910-0001) provides accurate and precise sizing via carefully selected DNA fragments and markers. The ladder enables the efficient and accurate qualitative analysis of DNA fragments including, PCR amplicons, microsatellites, and genotyping applications.

Rapid and accurate separation of up to 96 samples in parallel is possible, providing excellent resolution in the separation of single or multiple fragments, as shown in Figure 2.

A single microsatellite amplicon is shown in Figure 3 with an electropherogram and the accompanying digital gel image.

Figure 4 depicts the electrophoresis of two microsatellite amplicons, distinct peaks visible on the electropherogram and the digital gel image.

As the example separation examples indicate, the dsDNA 935 Reagent Kit (DNF-935) has the requisite sensitivity and accuracy for a wide variety of applications including genotyping while putting results in the hands of researchers faster.
