Subject: Relocation of AATI Manufacturing and Corporate Office
Effective Date:July 2015
Dear Valued Client,
We are excited to announce that Advanced Analytical Technologies, Inc. will be moving to a new facility in Ankeny, IA (Just 20 minutes south of Ames, IA). Over the last few years we have experienced tremendous growth as more and more labs have adopted the Fragment AnalyzerTM technology.
The new 33,000 square foot facility will allow us to meet this demand and more importantly, continue to provide the quality products and excellent support your lab requires. This state-of-the-art facility will increase research and development laboratory space to facilitate the introduction of new instruments and consumables, enhance quality control focused labs and has a layout designed specifically for improving our manufacturing workflow across departments.
We expect to begin transitioning operations to the new facility on July 15th with a full cut-over by August 15th. During the relocation, we will be taking every action possible to ensure there are no interruptions in customer service or in the shipment of instruments and consumables. If you are aware of mission critical or large consumable product orders that your lab will be placing during our relocation period, please let us know as soon as possible. We will make every effort to adjust production schedules so your critical path items are ready when you need them.
Please do not hesitate too reach out to us if there is anything you need as our first priority is always you, our customer.
In the near term we we will provide or contact information for the new facility. However, if you have any questions on the relocation or how it may affect you, be sure to contact AATI Technical Support by phone at (515) 296-6600 or by email at email@example.com
AATI Customer Service Team
Advanced Analytical Technologies, Inc. has seen tremendous growth over the last few years.
To support the increased need for the Fragment AnalyzerTM and our newest product, ZAG DNA AnalyzerTM, we will be moving our facilities to a new 33,000-square-foot building in Ankeny, Iowa.
Over the next three years, Advanced Analytical expects to hire 57 additional staff members. These new jobs will be created thanks to additional funding from the City of Ankeny as well as the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
AATI currently occupies approximately 17,000-square-feet of space in two buildings at the ISU Research Park in Ames, Iowa with no room to grow.
According to Brian Thompson AATI’s Chief Financial Officer, “Our needs are fairly specialized from the standpoint of facilities. We can’t wait for a new building to be built and there was property in Ankeny that fit our needs.”
AATI hopes to be in the new facility by July or August of 2015. Customers will not see any interruptions in sales or service of our instruments.
