How the Biomass Test Kit Works

A 3 mL pH-neutral sample aliquot is needed for analysis. A membrane-permeable dye is added that stains all the cells, live and dead. Other test kits are available if the user wants to differentiate between the live and dead cells (Total Viable Organisms Test Kit Product RBD-3000-50, and Dead Cell Test Kit RBD-3000-52). Samples are analyzed on the Micro PRO™ using a pre-loaded method and a direct-read format.
