The AdvanCE™ FS96 dsDNA Fluorescent System.

A fluorescence based high throughput system for both sizing and quantification of DNA fragments. The system was especially designed for dsDNA fragment analysis and can be used for analyzing PCR fragments generated from microsatellite sequences such as SSR and VNTR or Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP). With the high resolution of any CE system for dsDNA, the AdvanCE™ FS96 is the ideal choice for microsatellite DNA PCR analysis.

System features

The AdvanCE™ FS96 Fluorescent System is the ideal system for DNA fragment analysis (microsatellite and SNP).

FEATURES BENEFITS
A 96-capillary array Direct, parallel injection and separation of an entire plate at once, limits sample evaporation and handling.
Short run times
(30 minutes <1000bp)
With the fastest separation time of any CE system available, get more done in less time.
High sensitivity Detection limits as low as 5pg/µl without desalting, allows direct injection of PCR samples.
High resolution separation Resolve a wide range of dsDNA fragments. Achieve as low as 3bp resolution. Custom gels can be developed.
Low cost/sample Lower operational cost compared to agarose gels and cost saving when fluorescent primers are eliminated.
Robotics interface capable Allows unlimited unattended throughput.
Variable length and size capillaries dimensions Flexibility, flexibility, flexibility – allows instrument to meet changing laboratory or project needs.
User friendly software Calculate fragment size and quantity, display data in multiple formats, color code results for quick reference and analysis.

Software features

With our PRO size software, analysis of fragments is quick, easy and completely automated. With the easy to use software, results can available within minutes of finishing a separation. Just import the data, align the LMW sizing marker and let the software do the rest. Instantly, both size and fragment quantity is at your fingertips. With a few simple manipulations, your ‘print quality’ results are ready.

Digital images of the fragments can be viewed in 3 different formats. Not only is the data exportable; it can be hooked into a LIM system (additional programming required). The views are shown below.

Traditional view. View all 96 capillaries at the same time. After normalization of all lanes to a low molecular weight marker, fragments can be compared. Fragment size can be easily determined since the molecular weight marker is shown numerically on both sides of the digital representation of the fragments. Size and quantity information from any MW ladders can be entered into the software to predict relative size and concentrations of fragments.

Close up – traditional view. Close up digital representation of 12 individual samples is shown. From one to 12 samples can be visualized, easily compare samples from any well. Movement between groups of 12 samples is controlled by the toggle triangles at the bottom of the screen or by highlighting rows on the titer plate layout. Image contrast can be changed, by clicking on the contrast modal button, low concentration samples can be plainly visualized.

Quick analysis mode. A newly added feature of the software. Fragments can be visualized based on size and by which well of the microtiter plate they reside. Color-coded user defined fragment size ranges, allows rapid visualization of samples for further process or evaluation. Up to 4 different ranges can be specified.
