Surface Swab Analysis (in Beta Test)

An important quality component for many manufacturing industries is to routinely decontaminate surfaces and equipment, and then monitor the decontamination process using surface swabs. This procedure is applied in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, personal care, and other major industries. A reliable, fast detection method for the swabs is necessary to keep production moving.

Swab Control (Negative)                                E. coli Swab

The above data shows both control and E. coli spiked results from a surface swab analysis. The swab is placed into a tube containing buffer and vortexed to release sample species prior to analysis on the Micro PRO™ system.
