I want to Reduce Time to Results
Reducing time to results is critical for many researchers. Time reduction can be gained in multiple ways including: 1.) sample handling; 2.) electrophoresis run times and; 3.) results analysis. The AdvanCE™ FS Nucleic Acids Analyzer reduces time spent for all three.
- Sample handling - Loading samples onto the AdvanCE™ FS Nucleic Acids Analyzer is simple. When doing SSR analyses, the lab worker simply puts a separate marker tray onto the instrument. The tray contains upper and lower DNA markers which bracket the fragments of interest.
- Electrophoresis run times - The AdvanCE™ FS Nucleic Acids Analyzer can do runs as fast as 30 minutes, thanks to the usage of pre-set methods and efficient gel systems. For applications that don't require high separation resolution, this translates into running up to 2x96 well plates per hour or a throughput capacity of 48 plates per day.
- Results analysis - Our analytical software, PROSize™, reviews individual fragments quickly and
efficiently. It also allows the end-user to analyze groups of fragments with the fragment flagging
criteria. For example, on a 96-sample run on fragments ranging from 100 to 500 bp, you can
have one identifer that flags all fragments found +/- 10 bp with a 300 base-pair peak set as the
target size, while separating and identifying another group of samples ranging +/- 30 bp for the same
target. In this way the software allows the reseacher to rapidly divide the data into three groups:
- Those that fit the target criteria.
- Those that came close to fitting the target criteria.
- Everything else.
Additionaly, flagging criteria can be saved and applied to future runs while report generation formats can be tailored to give only desired information.
